The 1", 2" and 3" backing plates included in this kit enable users to focus on isolated defects while relying on a small footprint and controlled heat generation for efficient paint correction. It enables precision removal of severe defects; particularly on panel edges, sharp lines, intricate body panels, and more. They feature robust construction of strong fiberglass reinforced nylon, German Urethane, and machined aluminum 5/8" - 11 threaded hub for a long working life. The Velcro® micro-hook for convenient and secure pad attachment. Use these plates with the GR3 Mini Rotary or any 5/8" Rotary Polisher.
